Event Description:
UC Hastings La Raza Students Association is excited to host its 16th Annual Diversity Outreach Day (DoD). This student-run event seeks to expand opportunities for low-income individuals, minorities, and underrepresented communities to obtain a legal education. La Raza aims to provide prospective law students with invaluable mentorship, leadership and motivation.
Law students and law school administrators will provide advice on how best to navigate the application and admission process. Part of the DoD program includes a sample law school class, an LSAT class demonstrations, and opportunities to meet and speak with practicing lawyers and current law students.
The event is always free. Students from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to attend.
