Event Description:
The For People of Color Conference is a FREE annual event devoted towards demystifying the law school application process, the law school curriculum, and law student life for prospective law students of color. The 23rd Annual conference will be hosted by Berkeley Law’s Coalition for Diversity and co-sponsored by Berkeley Law’s Henderson Center via Zoom on Saturday, April 8, 2023 from 9:00AM-4:30PM Pacific Time. We encourage our attendees to stay for the whole conference to get the most out of the experience!
Attendees will attend a series of talks and workshops hosted by Berkeley Law Admissions representatives, the Berkeley Law Career Development Office, TestMasters LSAT preparation, and Berkeley Law professors. Our keynote speaker Judge Jennifer Madden from the Alameda County Superior Court will also be sharing valuable words of wisdom. In addition, attendees will have a chance to speak with Berkeley Law students to learn more about student life and the various opportunities to get involved in extracurricular activities, journals, and pro bono work. Lastly, attendees will have a chance to have drafts of their personal statements reviewed by law student volunteers and a chance to win a free TestMasters LSAT preparation course.
RSVP: Registration is required.
